Forensic Education LLC offers training for law enforcement and education professionals. Dr. Michael McCutcheon uses 20+ years of law enforcement experience to create hands-on training that can be used in the field or the classroom.

As a professor and former investigator, it was essential to develop courses that current investigators and future ones can use. Crime Scene Processing, Detecting Deception, Crime Scene Photography, Interviews & Interrogations, and Forensics in the Classroom are a few of the courses we offer.

Dr. Mike McCutcheon Ed.D

Dr. Michael McCutcheon served as a police officer for 21 years before becoming an Associate Professor at Fitchburg State University. Dr. McCutcheon’s research focuses on incorporating emotional intelligence to address issues within the criminal justice system.
Dr. McCutcheon’s experience in policing is diverse. His time as a detective allowed him to learn and create alternative techniques to process crime scenes and master evidence collection. Dr. McCutcheon has investigated almost every crime out there and, in turn, has become an expert in interviewing suspects and detecting deception through body language, and statement analysis.
